Third Symphony (Tragic) op. 89

This substantial work was written in the aftermath of the death of the composer’s daughter, Natalie. He completed it three days before the birth of his son, Billy. It was commissioned by the United States Air Force Band in Washington, DC, and their conductor, Colonel Alan Bonner.
