Movements II and IV feature a reduced ensemble that is a subset of the main band. Movement VII adds a youth band with separate parts and features soloists from every section of the main ensemble that move to antiphonal positions over the course of the movement. The whole piece is grade 6, but the youth band parts are grade 2.
